Christmas Party Site Venue Manager – Best Parties Ever
Best Parties Ever are looking for venue managers to join our team working at one of our 23 Christmas sites this coming winter. The 10 week contract, starting in October, will initially be based at our offices in Weybridge, Surrey and then will be located to one of our sites around the UK for approximately 5 weeks (accommodation will be provided whilst on site). This position will involve working weekends and long, unsociable hours but will be fun, rewarding and a great experience covering a wide variety of all aspects of the event industry!
Job role:
The successful candidate will join a management team who will be responsible for their own Christmas venue in which you will be in charge of the day to day running of the venue. Daily tasks will include, but not limited to organising of the venue layout, setting tables, bar set up, stock take, staff management, co running the operation during the parties, dealing with customers and problem solving as well as on site Liquor ordering, cashing up and producing a nightly Business done, staffing levels and supplier liaison.
Prior to being on site, when you are office based, you will be dealing with high volume telephone enquiries, booking parties and taking payments (using our computerised bookings system), accounting, organising marquees/venues, theming & production, entertainment, health and safety, staffing and HR, and dealing efficiently with all associated administration.
You will be an efficient, confident and reliable individual with previous experience in the Events and ideally also the catering industry.
You will need to be a strong administrator with excellent verbal/written communication skills and intermediate word processing and spreadsheet skills - attention to detail is essential
A positive attitude, a great telephone manner and a quick learner!
You will have a proactive and flexible approach to workload, super-efficient with great time management skills.
Work with the whole team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
You would require your own transport, due to our office location and Christmas party sites
We will provide the following training if required;
  • Personal Licence – Alcohol licensing course
  • Food Allergen Awareness
  • Fire Health & Safety
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene
  • H&S Awareness

Current Office Hours: 8am-5pm, (and then 8-6pm in the very busy period.)
Current Days: Mon-Fri, (to include Saturdays in Nov & Dec but on a rota basis – only a share of them.)

Job Title: Events Booking Administrator
Description: Best Parties Ever, the UK’s leading Christmas Party Supplier, is looking for Booking Administrators to work in their fast paced Weybridge office from June to December. Great administrative skills preferred although training on our bespoke booking system will be given.
Duties will include;
·         Answering the phones
·         Monitoring and answering emails
·         Making party bookings
·         Administrative Support to the Office and Management Team
·         Assisting with any administrative tasks in the run up to an Event
·         Booking Customers into our Christmas Party Booking System
·         Ensuring all Customers requests are logged correctly, such as dietary requirements
·         Taking and Inserting Payments into our Christmas Party Booking System
·         Counting and Packing orders that are paid for, ensuring they are dispatched via royal mail or courier to the customer
·         Responding to Customer Enquiries we receive via our Website
·         Reconciling Payment Reports
·         Helping customers with their online accounts
You would require your own transport, due to our office location in Brooklands, Weybridge.
